Hi! I’m Karen Del’Marmol, owner and President of KDM - A Business Support Service Company. I had over twenty-five years experience as an employee providing support services to a wide variety of industries and nonprofit organizations before starting my own company. My goal is to provide the same high quality services to the small business owner and entrepreneur who may not be able to afford an experienced, effective and efficient, full- or part-time employee.

My true passion and talents are writing and editing and I am a published author. Whether a multi-million dollar proposal to the United States Navy, an employee handbook, software documentation, legal briefs, contracts, magazine and newsletter stories or a simple letter, writing and editing are what I do best. I have an innate intelligence when it comes to the written word and I put that to work for my clients.

I served in the Defense industry for over ten years providing Administrative Assistance and support to executives and managers from Program Managers and Project Leaders to Contract Administrators to Vice Presidents and Site Directors. While working for companies that contracted to the United States Navy, I gained technical expertise with an array of hardware including new inventions that are commonplace today. My technical experience also includes software databases, albeit some proprietary to the Navy or a particular industry. This experience gives me a unique understanding of commercial software applications such as Microsoft Access and Excel, and the polices and procedures for maintaining data integrity.

I have many years of experience assisting executives and upper-level managers, a telecommunications expert, attorneys, commercial/industrial real estate appraisers and sales managers with word processing, organization and systemization, data and contact management, calendar and time coordination.

On the more personal side, I live with my five-year-old grandson, four cats and two fish. And, oh yeah - two cocoons that will soon produce different species of moths.
